15 Best Motivational Quotes to Inspire You Each Day

15 positive quotes explained to inspire you each day

“Be the change that you wish to see in the world” Mahatma Gandhi

Changes in life are unavoidable however, you can trigger personal change which can help you rise to the challenge and become a better, and stronger version of yourself. Through this journey, you are able to inspire others positively as a result of what you have experienced.

“It is never too late to be what you might have been” George Eliot

You can get the life you have always wanted by focusing on the most important things. Let go of the past and focus on the future by making changes today.

“Everything you can imagine is real”Pablo Picasso

When you dream and believe in what you dream about, you can visualise this and it can turn into reality.

“Nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible’!”Audrey Hepburn

If you think that your goal is impossible to achieve, it probably will be: if you expect to lose, you probably will.

The power of positive thinking highlights that the roots of success lie in the mind.

Believe in yourself and break the habit of worrying.

Take control of your life by taking control of your thoughts and shifting negativity into positively.

“Take responsibility of your own happiness, never put it in other people’s hands.” ― Roy T. Bennett

Happiness comes from within. No one or nothing else can make you happy except yourself.

There are misconceptions about the real meaning of happiness. For instance, that someone or something else can make you happy.

Also, people often misinterpret happiness as feelings of euphoria, or sometimes a momentary bliss coming from some addictive behaviour.

If you depend on someone else to make you happy, you give them the power to make you miserable when things turn around.

Your happiness lies in your own hands – If you expect others to make you happy, there would be many moments when you’ll feel disappointed.

“Self-love starts with having the courage to be who you are and what you want to be, irrespective of what others might think”Social Work Haven

Believe in your abilities and have the courage to be yourself.

Do not focus on what others might think.

Do your due diligence on every venture you intend taking and once you have decided, let nothing or anyone discourage you.

Be mindful. Be grateful. Be positive. Be true. Be kind”Roy T. Bennett

As Mahatma Gandhi highlights “change is inevitable”.

Face the ups and downs in life with positively.

Be kind to yourself. You need to remove negative thoughts and try to add positivism in your life.

Spend some time meditating, focusing on the positives and being grateful for everything you have.

Do what is right, not what is easy nor what is popular”Roy T. Bennett

Always show positive attitude.

This will make you feel happy as well as others around you however, make sure it is not about what is popular but what is right.

“I dream my painting and I paint my dream” ― Vincent Willem van Gogh

Dream the life you want and with faith, you shall live it.

“Don’t waste your time in anger, regrets, worries, and grudges. Life is too short to be unhappy” ― Roy T. Bennett

The only time you have control over is now.

You have no control over the past or the future. Lessons are learned from the mistakes made.

Those lessons can help you build the future life you want.

“Be proud of who you are and do not underestimate yourself”

― Social Work Haven

Stop focusing on how challenging life has become. Remember how blessed you are. Count your blessings each day!

To fall in love with yourself is the first secret to happiness.

― Afam Uche

The importance of self-love cannot be underestimated. Loving yourself is as important as loving others.

“No amount of regretting can change the past, and no amount of worrying can change the future.”

Roy T. Bennett

Go easy on yourself. If something is not meant to come your way, it will not. According to Ecclesiastes 10:14 – “They chatter on and on. No one really knows what is going to happen; no one can predict the future. The future lies in the hands of God.

“Tragedies do happen. From there onward we must put aside the fear that they awoke in us and begin to rebuild.” – Paulo Coelho

Tragedies happen and blaming others may be a natural reaction.

We can discover the reason, blame others, imagine how different our lives would be had they not occurred.

But none of that is important: they did occur, and so be it. However, in moving forward you need to put aside.

“It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light.” – Aristotle Onassis

When circumstances challenge us to do something that we feel is beyond our capabilities, we can have two choices: we can focus on solutions and proceed in conquest, or we can withdraw in defeat.

When we focus on solutions, we can overcome these challenges and become stronger.

“As you start to walk on the way, the way appears.” – Rumi

Often, we know what we want and may even have goals set. However, we find ourselves struggling to take the first step towards achieving the goals we have set.

Pursue a career goal yet, you are unsure how to start. You want to become an author, but you are unsure how to put your thoughts on paper.

You need to keep moving and take the first step towards achieving your goals.

Do your research, speak to people who have done it themselves, watch ‘how-to’ videos on the internet, read books related to what you want to explore.

Write down your plans and make them specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound.

This will help you make meaningful steps towards your end-goals such as career change, pursuing a course or business idea.

You cannot get to your destination if you do not take the first step. Don’t dwell on the details, but note the important aspects, and just get started.

How you’ll get there is something that will unravel as you begin the journey towards that destination.

Walk first — keep walking, and the way of “how” will present itself to you. You’ll figure it out as you go.

Mistakes make you learn and adjust your actions – Socialworkhaven.com

Sometimes, you may even make mistakes, but in making mistakes, you learn valuable lessons.

We can gain so much knowledge from our mistakes, and all it takes is the willingness to learn from them.

Through these mistakes, you get to know what works, and what doesn’t work. You discover the impact the errors or mistakes you have made affect others.

If your life is just a walk in the park, you cannot appreciate life to the fullest and be an inspiration to others. The only genuine mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

Mistakes teach us about integrity and the need to re-examine our intentions, reconsider our commitments, and adjust our actions. That way, we can ensure that our actions align without words.

Many people, when faced with a big mistake, pull back—to retreat. Instead, we can use the failure as evidence we are growing, risking, and stretching to meet our potential.

Mistakes help us to remember that we are not content to play it safe. That we understand that without risk, there is sometimes no reward.

To conclude, motivational quotes have the power to help us have a positive outlook on life.

These quotes have the power to awaken happiness and to brighten our day.

Motivational quotes can be meaningful and powerful in altering our way of thinking and helping us see something in ourselves that we want to change or overcome.

Similarly, mistakes have the power to turn us into better versions of ourselves and lessons learned can be referenced to inspire others.

  1. Such uplifting quotes, I’ve always had the intention of posting motivation quotes on my bedroom wall. Now I’ve a collection, so I’ve no excuse. My favourite is: nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible!

Very motivated after reading those, I’ll be better able to tackle hump day (Wednesday) tomorrow!

  2. I love this article and the quotes. My favourite one is ”Everything you can imagine is real” Pablo Picasso. This is so true . Without visualising and be clear of what you want, you cannot succeed. We need to be clear about what we want and set goals to achieve it.
I love the one from Rumi as well, it is so true. You don’t need to have everything figured it out, the way appears once you start the journey.

  3. This is a great post with inspiring quotes. I love how they help me with maintaining a positive mind and being the best version of myself.
Ghandi’s quote still is one of my favorite ones: ‘Be the change you want to see in the world’. Even in today’s society this is so profound and true. There are many people out there trying to control others in their ways of thinking/behaving/etc. This often leads to disappointment and frustration. You can’t change anyone else, the only thing you can change is how you feel, think and act about it. This will eventually lead to more changes around you. Thank your for sharing this with us.

    Kind regards,

  4. I love it that you not only have putten down really inspirational quotes, but included some extra words with them. And I also like it that it is not just quotes from the ‘famous’ people but of yourself as well. Good quotes can be so uplifting, can’t they. This past year I have collected 366 quotes and am almost done, so now I have one for each day of the year, even in a leap year. 🙂
